Grane Gives Back
Philanthropy has always been an important part of our company culture. Since the first generation of the Grane family opened for business, we have been making monetary donations to local and national associations. We want to make a difference in the lives of others, and we are fortunate enough to be able to do so.
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. The organization’s mission is accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications.
Kids Alive empowers abused, neglected, and vulnerable children in some of the hardest places. Join us in creating thriving families and communities by giving hope to children through restorative education, family strengthening, protective care, and justice advocacy.
Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As their post-service needs evolved, so have our programs and services. Today, through our direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, we improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.
RMHC keeps families with sick children together and near the medical care they need. Their network of local chapters has been providing resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide
Weston Bridges is a safe and secure independent apartment community for adult individuals with intellectual, cognitive and/or developmental disabilities with low support needs.
The Des Plaines Wetlands Conservancy is an established 501(c)3 Non-for-Profit organization whose mission is to conserve, protect, and acquire significant undeveloped lands adjacent to the Des Plaines River, and its tributaries. The relative assurance that the Conservancy property will be retained as wetlands comes with the fact that our existence is devoted to the perpetuation of wetlands and adjacent uplands.
Our founder, Hubert “Buzz” Grane Sr., was awarded the prestigious Spirit of Life® award from the City of Hope in early 1970s. This award annually recognizes industry leaders for their outstanding professional and philanthropic contributions. The tradition of giving back has continued through each successive generation.
In addition to the organizations we presently support, Grane is also interested in helping our customers’ and our employees’ charities. To submit your charity for donation consideration, please contact Judy Grane-Delaney.
We're excited to hear from you! Whether you have questions, feedback, or inquiries, our team is here to assist you.
